    Trischia and Jennifer will be at the Spanglish Small Business Expo (Charleston, SC) event promoting Bitcoin to the Hispanic community. This to be held at the Charleston Area Convention Center July 13 from 9am – 5pm.

    Update After the Event: Having a booth at the Spanglish Small Business Expo affirmed why the BOE Group exists. The Hispanic and Black communities want information of concepts of self-sovereignty and empowerment that Bitcoin can provide. We met with Mayor Reggie Burgess of North Charleston, who appreciates our commitment to Bitcoin outreach and education. We met with Duke Buckner, congressional candidate for SC-4, who wants to bring investment to his district, education and jobs to his constituents, and individual empowerment – something that Bitcoin can help provide. We have a plan to teach the first ‘My First Bitcoin’ class to the Latinx community in the Lowcountry including how to acquire Bitcoin safely, how to protect your Bitcoin, and how to use Bitcoin.

    Doug will be at the Bitcoin Charleston Meetup at Charleston Distilling Co on July 13 from Noon to 2pm-ish. The talk will be on Bitcoin Self-Sovereignty.

  • Bitcoin Education Classes

    We do have a fee for our classes. This fee comprises the costs of location rental, class materials and books, and teacher pay. Some cost of classes may be eligible to be covered through private and corporate donations. Please inquire.


  • The Bee’s Buzz – June 2024

    Bitcoin Education and Empowerment, a BEE engages with the community to teach how Bitcoin can be used on a daily basis in your life using the sound money properties of Bitcoin.

    Some of our outreach and education activities include:

    Charleston Leaders “Leader Academy 2023/2024” teaching Bitcoin and Emerging Technologies to Sophomore Leaders in Charleston County Schools.

    Daniel Island Rotary Club talk on Bitcoin, AI, and Emerging Technologies

    Doug Morton also heads the Bitcoin Charleston meetup teaching and talking about Bitcoin. Find more on this social and education group at https://bitcoincharleston.org

    Trischia and Doug met with the members of the West Ashley Chamber of Commerce (part of the Southeastern Chamber of Commerce) to talk about Bitcoin at the Triangle Char and Bar. It was a deep-dive into questions on how to buy Bitcoin from safe exchanges, and how to hodl Bitcoin for the long-term.

    BOE Group is a Bitcoin Outreach and Education non-profit.

    We are the BEEs – providing Bitcoin Education and Empowerment.

    The purpose of The BOE Group Inc. is to promote Bitcoin through education and outreach within the community. We aim to engage with local groups, including churches, community centers, chambers of commerce, civic organizations, and farmers markets, to educate individuals on the benefits of Bitcoin. Our goal is to build individual savings, enhance financial self-sovereignty, secure personal freedoms, and create a robust and vibrant future for our children. We focus on helping those traditionally excluded from the financial system by demonstrating how Bitcoin can positively impact their lives.

    We are based out of Charleston, SC, but we are a national group. We are developing outreach and education whitepapers on what types of outreach are the most effective for each specific group you are working. If you are interested in starting a BOE Group chapter in your area, please contact us. As we grow, each geographic chapter will have subdomain to the boegroup.org site with full access to signage and brochure templates for various types of outreach.
